Pixel art is a type of digital art that is produced through the use of software to edit images at the pixel level. In addition to other restricted systems such as graphing calculators, the aesthetic for this kind of graphics comes from 8-bit and 16-bit computers and video game consoles. The color palette used in most pixel art is extremely small in size, with some pixel art using only two colors.

During the early 20th century, with simplistic monochromatic light bulb matrix displays existing around 1937, some of the earliest equivalents of contemporary pixel art may be seen in New York City's electronic advertisement displays. Classic video games, particularly classic arcade games such as Space Invaders (1978) and Pac-Man (1980), and 8-bit consoles such as the Nintendo Entertainment System (1983) and Sega Master System, are the main source of pixel art as it is known today (1985). Adele Goldberg and Robert Flegal of the Xerox Palo Alto Research Center first published the word pixel art in 1982. The theory, though, goes back about 11 years before that, in Richard Shoup's Sup.

It is a single point in a graphic or photograph composed of the first syllables of the English expression Picture Part. Thousands or millions of tiny color grains consist of computer graphics or images, and each of these color grains is represented as 1 pixel. As a whole, these colors come together and appear as a graphic or illustration. Every pixel consists of three color dots (RGB) in the color monitors: red, blue and green. Thanks to these three colours, to produce various colors, the small-sized pixels flame at some speeds and, when viewed by the viewer, create different color palettes that vary according to the device.

We also see games on computers, especially games made for the mobile platform. Pixel art is chosen for indie games when making (content made by a group of developers with a maximum of four people). This is because it's trendy as well as easy to do. Using the icons on the home screen, Favicon, or web page as pixel art is also popular. For e-government applications, too, the timely planning of the IETT platform with pixel art was highly appreciated. The Operating System produces several operating system icons in pixel art (PC World picked "the best public agency site of 2003").

Artists use approaches that of feel free to produce pixel art, but there are strategies that are based on those fundamentals. Drawing by drafting, drawing within from the outside lines, etc. Several approaches exist. We will address these approaches in depth in the remainder of our article and we will create a pixel art together. To render Pixel art, you don't need specialized graphics tools. You can use an advanced graphics program like Adobe Photoshop, of course, but I regret saying that you won't get the productivity you expect.
